Introducing the Universe Locket Necklace: Holding everything you love inside

Introducing the Universe Locket | Holding within it everything in your world. With small repoussé stars, moon and planets, and a navy sunburst with thin navy sunrays bursting onto the locket, this locket has the capacity to mean more than just jewelry, but a symbol of everything, everywhere, that means the most to you.

We started working on this design almost 18 months ago, with multiple manufacturing rounds to make sure the parts and pieces that make our lockets feel really high-quality could exist even within a new design that's really different than anything else we've ever made. After months and months of new iteratioons to tighten the hinge, adjust the in, lift the inner ledge, correct the die cut, and more, and a final round of me testing it with a photograph of my family, my own universe, and not taking it off for 60 days, we're finally ready to share it with you.

To start, this is our first rectangular locket that closes. It works best with a vertical portrait oriented photograph, and you can select one or two to be placed inside and sealed with our signature resin.

We offer this locket in two selections: One is 18k gold vermeil on sterling silver, and a light flat cable chain, and the second is rhodium on sterling silver. Essentially, silver or gold. The images inside are .7" tall and .4" across -- it's small, but still rather clear when we shrink the image down to size. For my pwn locket, I selected a family photo from a recent vacation -- and while our faces are tiny because we're kind of far away in the image, I still love it so much because the memory of the photograph means so much to me. Besides, I know what's in there, because it's my whole universe.

I think in terms of the universe on a daily basis: collective energy, collective consciousness, wavelengths, vibrations, connections. I find the expanse of the universe unimaginable and subsequently something I imagine about on a daily basis. Constantly shifting, expanding, growing. I once watched a documentary on black holes by PBS every night for a week, absolutely mind blown by the gravitational pulls and natural parallels we experience in relationships to this force in space.

My favorite movie in the world is "Interstellar" and while it's 2.5 hours long, I watched it three times in one weekend when I first discovered it. So beautifully, thoughtfully done, a sci-fi with a realistic backdrop, further fanning my curiosity about the known universe.

I love the idea of time travel, or parallel dimensions, and of interconnected consciousness. Or, as one of my favorite yoga teachers calls says, she "believes in the power of collective harmony" and when she says it she has a smile on her face that you can feel coming from a well deep within her. It's a pull, this belief in energy that's big and universal.
