Welcome to The Locket Sisters! This is the part where we have to tell you all the rules, the legal stuff, the outline of what to expect and how to navigate the experience you'll have while trusting us to make a locket on your behalf. It's mostly periphery information, and frankly, it took us five years to write it because we're generally kinda feely and so human/relational focused that it felt like the vibes were off to make policies. Alas, the periphery is part of the view, and you don't really need it until suddenly you do, so we're following the advice of the smart people we've hired to keep us in alignment with the many rules and best practices of e-commerce, the Google Gods, SEO, SERP, SEM, Cookies (not the yummy kind) and also to keep you thoroughly informed, too, on how shipping works, how our locket-making works, and everything in between -- know what I mean?

By using our website and placing an order, you automatically agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of our jurisdiction, best practices for . Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within our jurisdiction. In no event shall our company be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use our website or products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

HOW IT WORKS

We solve the problem of putting photographs inside well-made, high-quality lockets for our customers. In order to make your locket, we need a digital image from you. The accepted formats are bmp, gif, jpg, jpeg, jpe, jif, jfif, jfi, png, wbmp, xbm, tiff up to 1000000KB. Don't overthink it though, most typical formats for images are accepted and will easily upload. If you have any issues getting your photograph to us by ordering on the website, email it to us at hello@thelocketsisters.com along with your shipping address, name, and desired locket choice. 

Once you've completed your order by checking out, you will receive an order confirmation via email. It should come within minutes. If you don't see it, check your spam folder. If it's also not there, email hello@thelocketsisters.com and we will send. Note that if you've paid via PayPal, your order will automatically default to the email you have on file with PayPal.

We begin new orders almost every weekday. We resize your photograph to fit the exact locket you chose, then cut it to an exact size, too. We mix small-batch epoxy resin to place on top of the photograph inside the locket. We can this step "pouring" and can only pour one "side" each day, meaning if you've ordered a locket that closes and wish to have two photographs inside, it will take a minimum of two days to pour your locket. 

After pouring, your locket needs 24-48 hours to dry before we can clean it. Pouring and drying are the most time-consuming parts of the process, and it's very easy to make a mistake at this point in the process. 

Once dry, we clean your locket, attach your desired chain length when applicable, polish it, package it, and ship it to you. The total time takes about 7-10 days from the date of order, often less, to get it moving in your direction.

In sum, we put your photos in our lockets, and protect them with a crystal clear resin. The end result is a keepsake piece of jewelry that will stand the test of time. 

PRICING

Prices for our custom lockets are subject to change at any time without notice as we monitor the price of gold and silver. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any products or promotions at any time without prior warning. With that said, we've not yet had to raise prices yet, since our inception in 2017, despite weathering the pandemic, inflation, and what seems like an impending recession that the US Economy also seems to be fending off?? If we gotta do it though, we'll do it, in pursuit of keeping the Locket Sisters team compensated fairly while meeting the demands of this continually growing business.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE

We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason. If we cancel your order, we will contact you using the details provided during the ordering process to let you know of this status change and details on refund, if applicable.
