Cat and Kitty Lockets for Feline Lovers

I'm afraid of cats, and I realize that it's my issue, not that of the kitties. In fact, cats love me. Like LOVE me and crawl all over me. I swear they know when someone doesn't feel comfortable around them so they taunt us with their affection...I sound ridiculous, I know that, but honestly, cats are obsessed with me while I remain *actually* afraid of them.

When I was a kid my parents had a handful of friends who would come to our house for dinner, and we'd go theirs. I loved these dinner parties! My Mom always spent the day cleaning the house, putting our potpourri in a crockpot (THE BEST) and making a cream chese/chilli dip that was so delicious. I loved the chips she'd buy, I loved that our house was clean and smelled good and that she was excited to see her friends.

One of the friends -  the Kvarnlovs - they had a cat or two, and the kids, as is the case with all dinner parties, were sent to the basement to watch movies, play Barbies, get in trouble, stay away from the parents. Again, I loved this! New TV channels, new movies, new kids to learn from about the world!

But those damn Kvarnlovs had a cat that also stayed in the basement. And it specifically stayed in the basement bathroom. That little guy would hide in the shower and swipe the shower curtain away from the wall to show it's face and hiss at us while we were on the toilet. CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE? It would be kinda pounce-y. It scared the hell outta me, and my siblings. To this day we're all kinda scared of cats.

I don't know why we decided to launch cat lockets that hold photographs instead of dog lockets. Whyyy? But you know what? Something divine happened with this design: A few years ago we got a call from a Mom in California who asked us if we'd like to collaborate on fundraising for her organization, The Meow Meow Foundation, which raises money for drowning prevention awareness, legislation, and programming. She found our Meow Meow Lockets because her daughter, Roxie Belle, had a stuffed animal named Meow Meow. We named a locket after her daughter that raises money for their organization, and The Meow Meow Lockets seemed foreseeable and divine after all.

So here we are, sharing the three cat lockets that we offer, each one in silver and has the ability to hold one or two photographs. We hope you love them. And tell us, would you like us to add other animals to our collection?
