This is a special project hosted by Angie Talle Art, with help from the Locket Sisters and jeweler Sarah Flicek. Purchasing a locket from the "Uvalde Lockets" means you are sponsoring a Big Love locket for a surviving parent or child of the 21 beloved human beings taken at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24th, 2022. Each of the 24 lockets will be a gift to the bereaved parents, and children, of the victims, and will come with a custom charm by Sarah Flicek with the loved one's name. Once completed, Angie Talle will personally deliver the lockets to the families in Uvalde around the second anniversary of their tremendous loss.
Thank you thank you thank you.

At the Locket Sisters, we make meaningful jewelry every day. Often, the pieces we spend time working on are for grieving hearts who are finding their way back to life after loss. We hold space for both their ache and longing, and the joy and love they shared during their time together. When Angie Talle of Angle Talle Art approached me about lockets for survivors in Uvalde, it was a clear yes. Taking loving action in a broken world is a salve on my own heart, and to spend time making lockets for the families of 21 people who met this brokenness in their final moments of life on this Earth, in this body, in this lifetime, is an honor.
